On January 7, 2026, Traffic Unit Cpl. Turner attempted a traffic stop on a black motorcycle after observing it weaving around construction cones in an active road construction zone. The driver, Terry Fischer, fled. Cpl. Turner caught up to Fischer and attempted to get him to pull over, but Fischer instead increased his speed. During the pursuit, Cpl.
